B50 booting issue

I have a B50 that I am attempting to install Yellowdog 1.1 on.

I downloaded the zimage.chrp and zimage.initrd disk images and renamed them to
ZIMAGE. When the machine boots, I press the 8 key and get a prompt. I type boot
floppy:,/ZIMAGE and the machine reads off the floppy, then the CD. Finally, it
hangs giving me the message

Instantiating file

Any insight? Any help would be appreciated.
