Well not YDL and not Orb - But I have successfully used RedHat
Installer to put DR3 on a ZiP disk and use it regularly as a
recovery disk. It is pretty straightforward. ZiP is unreliable
so I only use it for emergencies. First you must partition it
right: I use this -
Partition map (with 512 byte blocks) on '/dev/sda'
#: type name length base ( size )
 1: Apple_partition_map 10 @ 1
 2: Iomega_DiskInfo 10 @ 11
 3: Apple_Driver43* 400 @ 21
 4: Apple_UNIX_SVR2 / 176853 @ 421 ( 86.4M)
 5: Apple_UNIX_SVR2 swap 16384 @ 177274 ( 8.0M)
 6: Apple_HFS mac 2950 @ 193658 ( 1.4M)
Then use RedHat Installer just like it was a hard drive.
CAUTION - this is a VERY small partition and RedHat doesn't deal
with running out of space very gracefully (something just chokes)
So only install what you are going to need.
Also 8 meg is VERY small swap space so don't use it for long - I
usually just use 'fsck' on my hard disk system. All you have to do
if your main disk is fsck'd up as they say - is type /dev/sda4 (ZiP)
into BootX control panel and push 'Linux'. Hope that helps.
