Our first batch of cds have 16a.. they are no different then 16b except
that 16b includes support for ATTO SCSI cards (addon cards shipped with
Beige G3s). We ran a second batch of cds to include a better RS/6000
kernel and decided to include a kernel with ATTO support as well.

So far we've only had 1 person get a 1.1 cd without ATTO support that
needed it -- these really are rare cards. Anyway, both kernels are
modular, etc.. just make sure that if you have 16a RPMs installed, you
need to have a 16a kernel in your System Folder (the one that came with
your cd). If you are using vmlinux from the FTP site, ensure that you have
installed the 16b RPMS.

Hope that clears up some confusion,
Dan
