Indeed that is the issue.

Thanks for both the education and the answers to both my questions.

As for distro, I'm still running the 1.0 YDL. I received 1.1 in the
mail two days after my 2 week advanture in getting LINUX installed on
this box. (It is a weird prototype... one of 3 left on the planet I
think, so does not fall into any supported hardware categories!)

Once I had it *up* I figure I'd run for a while before I attempt any
upgrades, if only to give my patience a rest. =)
