Hello all,
 having recently updated to CS 1.1, I since then have problems with the
Xserver, be it Xfreedev, or Xpmac on my wallstreet G3, 13 inch screen,
with the no video driver checked on BootX. Xpmac, that's easy, simply
does not happen. It just gives me a black screen, that's it, not even
the grey with the x mouse pointer. XFreeDev, on the other hand, gives me
a working X, but as soon as I have my back turned, it crashes, no matter
what applications or lack thereof are running. I first thought that it
might be related to the screensaver, but following a tip on the list, I
disabled it (or so I think!). The main problem seems to be this :
Fatal server error:
fbdevUpdateColormap: FBIOPUTCMAP failed (Function not implemented)

I could not find info on that, where should I disable this function so
that it won't crash my system again?

I also give the full error message I'm left with once X crashed. I
usually start X with startx, but sometimes use -mach64.
