Subject: AMS 17" + X

Has anyone used the Apple Multiple Scan 17 with X? I can only get it to
go into 640x480 at 8 bit.
Xconfigurator does have the AMS 17, but that doesn't seem to help. I
can sometimes get the X server not to quit with some configs, but only
to put out of sync video on screen.
Any ideas?
In Mac OS it can go up to 1024x768 @ 75Hz, and I've access the TIL info
on it and that didn't help...
