Still check your battery- if the pram battery is low, other problems
will start to happen. My beige G3 at just two years of age had its
battery die- the way I found out was linuix would randomly panick
during boot, and the scsi would frequently lose mesh.

Replacement of the battery cured all- so if you are having time/date
probs, check your battery before worse things start to happen!

*sigh*- the battery on my Plus lasted MUCH longer, and was easily
accesible. And they say computers have gotten better....
