/etc/rc.d/rc.local would not be inappropriate.

Dunno about sound yet - still have audio cd problems - getting an i/o
error when i try to mount them. see this in my logs:
Aug 24 14:18:43 rose kernel: hdc: command error: error=0x54
Aug 24 14:18:43 rose kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev 16:00 (hdc),
sector 0Aug 24 14:18:43 rose kernel: FAT: unable to read boot sector

dunno why FAT - what is the filesystem type for audio cd's ? iso9660 ?
doesn't work either ...
sound DOES work under MOL though - I'm guessing that it will under ydl
too once I can mount a cd.
