Before you go to far and wonder why you cant actually get any passwords,
remember that routers actually work. You can only see traffic that is
actually on the physical wire to which you are attached. You can see
traffic inside of my house anymore than I can see traffic inside of your
university.

Depending on how the routers are setup, you may not be able to see
anything more than the room you are in.

Just FYI.

I also concur with the other post. Take the problem description (not the
proof) to someone who can understand and that cares. There must be some
geek in the computer center with clout that you can get to know.
Universities are notorious for taking well meaning actions very
seriously. If you cant find anyone then protect yourself as best you can
and then well .... con some other flunky into taking the fall for you
(that's a joke son :-).
