I did a "/etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd restart" and sucessfully started xinetd.
proftpd is installed, when I try to execute it, it tells me that it
can't determine the IP address of this odd roadrunner hostname. I use a
DHS.org domain, should I define it in some configuration file? (I am on
a network, with a cable modem and a router. The router is forwarding
ftp, telnet, and http connections to the local IP address of my YDL
machine.)
Where is the telnet server program?
