Ok, TiPB 400 works well with YDL2.1 easiest install ever...

However

I have the latest ben0 kernel (2.4.17-pre2-devel) solved my modem
problems, however kde now starts up with an error message

I used the instructions as

exept I used a newer kernel, could that be the problem??

Sound server fatal error

Error while initialising the sound driver
Can't set playback format (_format=17, asked driver to give 16, got 32)

Also audio cd-roms will not play comes up with input output error even thought
reads the audio disk to list contents

Any ideas on how I can fix this....
