Assuming you have multiple zones? I'm having a similar problem on x86
with 5.1.1, won't startup / register in anthing but the defult zone.

If you try to start the server with no ATALK_ZONE defined in
/etc/atlak/netatalk.conf what happens (if you have a router it should give
you a zone a nd network number in the defualt zone)?

If you have multiple adaptoers on your machine, edit atalkd.conf and set
the -dontroute flag on each adaptor you have, else atalkd will try to
route ddp across all the adpators it finds.
