Have you tried any of the 'gui' install modes instead of the text installs?
Maybe they will be more descriptive ... The error message you are getting
seems to be pretty vague 'must correct manually'. Correct what?? :-)

Also, are you creating the partitions in Linux or from Mac OS? You should be
creating them from the installer. Try deleteing all existing partitons and
re-creating them in the installer. And also, what are your mount points for
the three partitions you have?

Sorry I am just shooting in the dark ... there is just too little info to
figure out what may be going wrong.
