I would appreciate help with XFree 4.1 too, since I broke mine trying to do
the obvious.
It seems that what comes on the YDL 2.0 CDs is what definitely works.
Anything else is just not guaranteed to work.

Subject: XFree86 4.1

I've tried to upgrade to XFree 4.1 by compiling and installing... i didn't
really know what do to but in the end I basicly broke all of the XFree86
install. I was stuck with the console until reinstalling the version of
XFree from the YDL 2 cd.
But my question is, can someone walk us newbies through upgrading to
XFree86?

Thanks,
Nate
