Hi all -

I just purchase YDL 2 and am very much looking forward to using it on my
Powerbase 180.

I also am hooked up to a external hard drive, and this is where I am hoping
to have YDL (as I did LinuxPPC). I am including info about this drive
below.

I have used the YDL installation program to create boot ~ 15M, swap ~ 128M,
and root partitions ~ 3+ Gig on the external drive. The external drive
*does also have about 600+M of an Apple partition on it.

But, the challenge that I have run into is this.

I get to the point during installation where I can click on Mount. The
installation program starts adn/or tries to do this mounting. But I get
the message
like:

"There was a problem opening /dev/hda:
Error: the partition's data region doesn't occupy the entire partition."

The install program at this point does not seem to be seeing the ext drive
?? It should be something like /dev/sda I think.

Does anyone have suggestions or comments or alternative approaches...?
Thanks !!
