FYI:
1. You don't need System Disk to usr Open Firmware:
Command-Option-O-F upon start-up.
2. If you use ybin to install yaboot and the bootscript, you
get a much nicer menu choice.
3. From you to-do list: you can /not/ get sleep to work on your
PowerBook unless you do some serious programming. Unlike
Lombards and earlier, memory is not preserved on sleep, so
you have to write it all out to disk before you sleep (not
hard), but then read it all back in upon wakeup (harder).
You'd have to figure out how MacOS does this.
If sleep would work, I'd get a Ti PowerBook in a hearbeat.
