Can someone help me with this? :) ...

The last five hours of pain have resulted in the following simplified steps:

1) Installed yd2.1 on Mac PowerBook G3 (NewWorld-yaboot)
2) Installed pcmcia support package rpm from install cd
3) Reconfigured /etc/pcmcia/config.opts
> include memory 0x80000000-0x80ffffff
> include port 0x100-0x1ff
4) Added an ifcfg-eth1 file (same options as wired ethernet, 'cept it maps
to eth1)
4) Run 'cardmgr' (don't know why i have to run it manually??)

Now I plug in Orinoco Gold card into machine. Beeps once. /var/log/messages
says it couldn't detect the type of card and so it starts prentending it's
'anonymous memory' and gets all unhappy.

What is the missing piece?

thanks,
