KDE2 Control Center problem

When I try to run various reporting from the Control Center, I get the
following message:

There was an error loading the module.
The diagnostics is:
/usr/lib/kde2/libkcm-info.so: undefined symbol:_floatdidf

This is using YDL 2 install CD, installed on a 9500/132/G3 upgraded.
Installation was the Development Workstation one, although I had the
same problem when I attempted the Home-Office installation.
