Titanium and XFree86

I've been playing around with YDL 2.1 and Apple's 550 Titanium.
I've got it up and running, but ran into some difficulty with running X.

As Winston wrote here :

This is a valid workaround. BTW - you need to type in
fbset 1152x768-55

And I changed my default depth in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4

However this kernel update screws up sound, which isn't nice.

Is there a plan from YDL for a fix that will allow audio and video to
work together?
