I've got a three month old Powerbook G4.

I just got YDL 2.1 and when I go though the text install (GUI doesn't
work), I get to the install media part and then I get a message that the
cd/dvd cannot be mounted.

I tried cd-install at the boot prompt, but get a kernel panic message
after a bit.

Has anyone run across this problem and found a fix?

I haven't seen anything on this in the previous list postings.
