Again, the updcd_ramdisk.image.gz should fix all the weird problems that
occured due to what packages were selected. Apparently, some of the
installer problems were caused by a problem with the "strip" binary.
The install binary and some of the shared libraries get stripped in for
space reasons.
Anyway, so try the update and let me know of any problems with it.
