Ahh, no wonder the whole system went crazy. Thanks for the info, now I know.
There's quite a few programs I'd like to run that require the new libraries
(the new version of ppp, which I hope can connect at 56k) and several
versions of ICQ for PPC Linux. Guess I just have to wait for R1, or until I
get YDL for this machine.
