use rsync -avz linuxcare.com.au::linux-pmac-stable /usr/src/linux

You need to tell it where to dump the files. I think you need to do this
even if you are in /usr/src/linux.

BTW, /usr/src/linux is normally a symlink to a dir like
/usr/src/linux2.2.15pre4 or something like that. WHatever you set it to.
