Hi,
I'm trying to install YLD CS1.2 on my rs6000 43P 120, but the zImage.prep
don't detect keyboard correctly and for the scsi adapter (ncr 53c810) ,
write scsi : 0, on the screen and then reboots immediatly.
I was successful to install the earlier release (1.1) booting (after a lot
of attempts) with the zimage2.2.10+IDE from linuxppc then with the
ramdisk.image.gz from YellowDog CS 1.1. BUT, yes, but, I was not
successful to use my second net adapter (3c509 with bnc out) and I must to
do this.
And because the lot of mails with S3 864 problems, I have not yet tested X.
Actually, my main problem is to access to the net with my ethercard 3c509.
I was thinking to resolve this pb with the new release 1.2. but nothing.
When I boot with zimage2.2.10+IDE above then new ramdisk.image.gz (CS
1.2), after the language choice (blue screen on the center), I get a
segmentation fault and ...system hangs.
Can I use the ramdisk image from CS 1.1 to install CS 1.2 ?
Any idea ?
