Hi,
I have seen several questions in the archive about the Adaptec SCSI
controllers, but have not seen any solutions.

Using the YDL CD distribution, and booting from the generic kernel, the
bootX app recognizes the controller, identifies all SCSI buses, and
begins the downloading sequencer code. Then it hangs with the message :
     scsi: aborting command due to timeout pid 0, scsi0 channel 0, id0,
lun 0 0x 00 00 00 00 00

The controller has been updated to firmware version 4.1b1.
Note that scsi0 should be the internal apple scsi bus, not the Adaptec
controller buses.

Is there a work around? Does anybody have a working system with a
similar configuration?
