Hi.

Probably won't be a great deal of help, but I believe scd0 is one of the
CDROM devices. To the best of my knowledge, SCSI hard drives use /dev/sda,
/dev/sdb, etc. It sounds like the problem is related to the system trying
to probe for your CDROM drive.
