We'll be getting one of these iMacs where I work- and mom has one
(that I bought her- but she loves Mac OS too much...)

I'm very interested in getting Linux on it (@ work). I have a few
ideas- I'm going to try make oldconfig using the kernel configuration
from YDL but with a modern 2.2.17pre16 stock w/ usb backport.

The advantage of course is the usb in the backport is a tad more
advanced than in the pmac tree, as its straight from the 2.4 series.
Disadvantage is that it uses the new /dev/input/mice which may
confuse the installer.

Of course- if someone else gets one of these to install first- I'd
love to be saved ther pain of my idea not working ;)
