Subject: Edit Menu on KDE -- newbie question

On my G4 Titanium PowerBook, I have installed OpenOffice. I can easily
start it from a terminal within KDE; however, Iıd prefer to add it to the K
menu or, better yet, add its icon to the top panel. I was advised to use
Edit Menu and told that it is fairly straightforward. Alas, I havenıt found
it to be so this may say more about me than Edit Menu, but Iım still
stuck. Any suggestions?
