Thank you! I added the following command in rc.local:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/lpd start

There is indeed "stard" and "restart" command so far I noticed thanks to you.
Restart stops the printer first.
I just have now the problem of the hda13 that I should perhaps format in hfs.
I will wait for your advice.
