If I got it right (base on other posts) the aumix should let me adjust the
volume. I had no luck with aumix so far. I'm on YDL 1.2.1 with patched
(2.4.14 ppc patch) 2.4.14 kernel from www.kernel.org. I can play mp3 using
XMMS, and have a very broken control over the volume via XMMS Equalizer, but
I can't adjust the volume (including aumix), nor play CDs. Is there a cure
for that?
