Thanks! makes perfect sense, i figured it was something along those lines..

How do you know what is missing? This is what i get

I start with typing in:

"yup update"
- it then checks for RPMs
-then says dependency check
then just skips a few lines and goes
"error dependencies'

No clue as to what it needs from this. is there a modifier switch
that will tell me? like

"yup update -d" or something?

makes no sense, since i did a "everything" install - shouldn't it
have put every package in?

Also, is there even an update that i need with 2.0 yet...

Thanks for your help!

I am truly amazed at how much its came along since 1.2.1 - i just
tinkered with it somewhat, getting my feet wet, but i seem to be able
to intuitively grasp some of the things I've yet to read a man page
for. That old Mac philosophy of "who needs a manual" hehe - well, it
don't always work in Linux, but sometimes you stumble across it. 8-)
Also, it now works with my 3 Com hub. I had to take the hub out of my
network chain to get connectivity in 1.2.1, but it works fine in 2.0.
8-)

Also quite impressed with the changes and beefing up of KDE - seems
eons faster and more useful than it used to be.

Anyway, l thank you for your time all, and help.
