In a previous post, I noted that using kernels prior to 2.2.18x, my
monitor was set automatically during "setup" and worked fine at 16 bit
for 1024 x 768 on a 17" third party display (LG Studioworks 775N running
from a 9500/132/G3). As soon as I updated to versions of kernel 2.2.18x
and higher, I get only 8 bit, and the screen is slightly shifted to the
right (except for the overlay flashing sections during booting up X).
I have not figured out a workaround with YDL 2 and so far response from
Terrasolutions is that some things just won't work... although it worked
in version 1.2.1 YDL???

Cheers,
Donn
