I've tried the 2.2.17pre1 kernel with little luck on the H50.

I'm using a console attached to the serial port. I enter the multiboot menu and tell it
to boot from floppy.

I get a few Openfirmware boot messages on the serial console, but no kernel messages.
The LED display on the machine says LinuxPPC 2.2.17, and a few moments later, the
machine reboots.

I'm seeing absolutely no kernel messages. Do I need to attach a monitor to the onboard
video to see the messages, or should they come out the serial console?

The onboard video has a non-standard connector (it looks like a Macintosh connector) so
finding a suitable monitor is a problem.

Cheers,
Thomas...
