  What might be also useful if anyone could determine how much space
is required for / and /usr in case we have each one for those
directories in different partitions. I have been told is a good idea
to make the /usr read only after you install your system to prevent
hackers from "redefining" your command set -like making ls not list
certain types of files and such. Just a thought
