When I tried it at home, I was on a 10BaseT hub, of a brand whose name
eludes me at the moment (I can look it up when I get home if you think it
might matter). I also tried it this afternoon at work, connected to a
100BaseT Cisco switch, and got the same results. I have a few other brands
of hubs that I can try, but I want to be able to use it at work and at home,
preferably using my current hubs...

I also tried multiple Ethernet cables at home (I only tried one at work).

I can run some diagonstics if there's any output that you'd find useful.
Heck, I could create an account and let you log in to the thing if you
really want to poke around. :^)
