hi all,

after overcoming the "can't mount CD/DVD" issue i keep running into a
segmentation fault when the installer starts formatting the hard drive
with my new partition schema.

has anyone had this problem and knows how to get past it?

setup:
- G4 dual 450
- 1GB ram
- stock hardware *except* for an additional HD added to the original HD
IDE chain
- install-text installer

any help appreciated :)

P.S.: i don't think i ever had this many problems on a nearly stock
machine that is supposed to be fully supported as far as i can interpret
the hardware compatibility info on the YDL site... YDL 1.2.1 on my
firewall ( a bone stock cube ) was a breeze compared to this, and it's
been sitting there for months now running without a peep.
