This isn't 100% accurate. Jason (who did in fact rather miraculously
survive his little car being hit by a drunk driver in a Ford Expedition or
suchlike) was not a developer. His responsibilities were publicity,
promotion, the Web site, etc. -- his resignation announcement is at
http://cable.linuxppc.org/home/jhaas and his blog is at
http://www.haaz.net. The rather harrowing journal of his recovery is at

Just wanted to clear that up.
