Uhh.. that would be way beyound the scope of this list. Suffice it to say
that the bits of code in the linux kernel labeled "x86" would be
architecture specfic code for that specfic platform. There are other
utilites and software as well that deal with those hardware specfic
things, as there are ppc specfic things as well in apps and in the kernel
source tree.
