You should be able to mount hfs partitiions, but not hfs+. BTW if you can
get you mouse working, let me know how you did it, cause altough mine works
it behaves a little strangely. (But it's a contour unimouse so maybe it'll
be different).

The problem for anyone else who might know the answer is that it frequently
requires a triple click instead of double in windowmaker. I'm using Xpmac
(not the latest version but fairly recent). The strange thing though is
that xev reports all the mouse events correctly which makes me think it's
windowmaker. The other thing is that very occassionally the mouse and
keyboard lock up completely and I have to reboot, which I seem to remember
was discussed a while back. I don't remember this being resolved then, any
news since?

my G3/350 uses /dev/ttyS0 but your h/w may be different. I've not tried
minicom, so I can't comment on that but I followed the directions on a
general linux site I found. Try http://axion.physics.ubc.ca/ppp-linux.html
just follow the instructions and you should be fine. One thing that caught
me out though when I first set this up was I tested my connection by
pinging a known IP address. Unknown to me however my ISP does not allow
ping packets so I thought I'd failed to get PPP working. Eventually I got
fed up and tried an FTP just for the hell of it and it worked fine.
