I use it manually - mount /mnt/floppy
That will work if you have set up the /etc/fstab correctly.
to unmount use 'eject /mnt/floppy'

Zip I haven't used yet.

As for the screen settings, I will try to see exactly what I am doing on
my computer.
I'll let you know.
