I'll try a 4th time. The exact error message is (skipping the rpm info):
"error setting removte server to passive mode". clicked 'ok', then 'yes',
"server IO error".

I'm using 129.22.32.15 because I have an OC3 & OC12 backbone connection to
that machine.

I was doing a thorough custom installation, though I am now quite speedy
about it after my 3rd try.
