Subject: Multiple video cards ?

I have an Apple Network Server running YDL 1. It has a built-in video card,
which is a cheap Cirrus Logic 54m30 with almost no VRAM. It also has an ATI
Mach64 card, which I have now running as my output-device in OpenFirmware.
My problem is, that I can not make it my default fb. How do I do that ?
The kernel gives me this info during boot:
Console: switching to colour frame buffer device 80x30
fb: Cirrus 54m30 frame buffer
atyfb: mach64GX (ATI888GX00) [0x00d7 rev 0x03] 2M VRAM, 14.31818 MHz XTAL,
135 M
Hz PLL, 50 Mhz MCLK
fb1: ATY Mach64 frame buffer device on /bandit@F4000000/ATY,XCLAIM@10
So the device is found, but as fb1.
I tried to force the system to select the ATI card by having this in
my quik.conf file:
image = /vmlinux-2.2.11b
label = new
append = "ncr53c8xx=ultra:n,tags:0 video=atyfb:vmode:17,cmode:8"
I am pretty sure I had this working in the old days in another distribution.
Any ideas what is going wrong here ?
