Vi (more properly, VIM) is my line based editor of choice, but I have never
been able t negotiate a document in vim as quickly as any GUI editor. I
have also had no luck with decent regex search and replace. Every time I try
I get a "pattern not found" error, but I can just find with the pattern
without difficulty. I have double-checked the syntax according to my book,
but no dice.
