 Well, lets see. Like many people here it seems, I'm on a lot of mailing
lists. So far, only the two YDL lists don't included [JUNK] in the
subject.

 On all of these mailing lists (daw-mac, daw-mac-ot, motu-mac, max-msp,
unisog, a few beta list, etc.) *All* of them have extra 'Re:'s in the
subject. The only ones that have extra [JUNK] are the ones that are
cross-posted, and then it gets messy. So, this clutter's the subjects
somewhat, but is manageable. Now, If I was using my Palm or some other PDA
to read my email, extra junk in the subject is just a drag, and some
clients will simply truncate it.

 Honestly with the volume of email I get, I can't imagine keeping it in
the same folder. It makes searching slower and archiving a pain. So, I
don't see why there should be redundant [JUNK] put into every email
because you don't like the way your client works.
